Simplifying pension matters for insolvency practitioners

Overview

Courts Trustees specialise in helping Insolvency Practitioners deal with Pension scheme issues on a day to day basis. No job or question is too small.

Our aim is to reduce the risk of IP's breaching pension regulations by giving the correct advice and assistance. The lack of guidance in relation Defined Contribution Schemes, can make this difficult. Our expertise and close relationship with the Pensions Regulator means that we are in the best position to help.

With over 40 years of Insolvency experience our team understand the needs of Insolvency Practitioners.

Simplicity……..someone to explain what needs to be done and quite simply how much it will cost to help and how long it will take.

Since 2018 every company in the UK is required to have a pension scheme in place. With only 2 exceptions:

* Self employed individuals and Sole Directors

When IP's are appointed, the insolvent company should have a scheme in place and it is up to the IP to carry out the appropriate investigation to establish what you need to do with such scheme

This is why the company was set up. To help you.

Client Reviews

"I traced an old company pension, from over 30 years ago, a company that was now in administration. After many months of chasing by myself by email and telephone calls and getting the runaround, it was decided by the liquidators that a new trustee for this pension scheme would need to be appointed. Thankfully, Emma at Courts Trustees was appointed to dissolve the old trusteeship and appoint themselves as the new trustee of the Pension Scheme. Emma guided me through the legal process and kept me up to date at all times. As soon as the new deed was executed and the forms signed, Emma was able to expedite the Pension company to make a payment to me straight away. I am very grateful for the service I have received and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Courts Trustees to anyone needing to appoint a trustee."
